DJ CABLE
As a 3x UK DJ Champion (placing 3rd in the world in 2010), and with numerous other national DJ titles under his belt, DJ Cable’s ability as a turntablist and a selector brings a breath of fresh air to radio (where his mixtapes are in constant demand from stations such as BBC 1Xtra, Rinse and Kiss), and the European club & festival circuit.
Having played in over 15 countries, and continuously playing upwards of 200 shows per year, he has also worked alongside, DJ’ed for, or hosted parties for the likes of Snoop Dogg, The Weeknd & Nas, played for some of the biggest brands on the planet, and even held down a 3 year residency on BBC 1Xtra.
He ALSO spins for some of your favourite sneaker brands, and is one of the “go to guys” for events such as Sneakercon, Sneakerness and Crep City.
Outside of DJ-ing, Cable is also an accomplished producer, having on both majors such Universal Music/Island, and independent labels such as Four40 Records, ching zeng & more. His releases have seen support from the likes of soulection.
Under his Laced Sound imprint he self releases his own music, but also works freelance as a music supervisor and consultant for labels such as Island, 0207 DEF JAM, Polydor and Warner, assisting them with official radio edits, and marketing for their roster, including TV & radio adverts, and YouTube advertS.
